Replica station building

We built a replica of 'probably the world's smallest station building'.

Interpretation Boards

We have designed and/or installed nine interpretation boards along the route

of the railway.

Publications

We have published a guide booklet to the railway and a Then and Now book.

We have an extensive online Shop.

Anniversary Exhibitions

We have held two very successful WC&PR Anniversary Exhibitions in Portishead –

in Oct 2017 and Oct 2022.

Collection of artefacts

We are building a small collection of original artefacts.

Route Survey

Bob Edwardes and others have completed a thorough survey of the route, finding and recording railway artefacts.

Other things we do:

Trips

Every year we organise a weekend trip to visit other railways and run guided minibus trips along the WC&PR route

Meetings

We have six meetings per year, with guest speakers on a range of

interesting topics.

Talks

We have given over 100 talks on the WC&PR to various local organisations.

Annual Dinner

Usually every December we have an annual dinner for members and guests in the Consti Club, Clevedon.

Exhibitions

We have a display stand at many

shows and exhibitions every year.

Newsletter

Members receive a quarterly newsletter.
